voice INTER connect was founded in 2000 as a spin-off of the well-known Laboratory of Acoustics and Speech Communication at the Dresden University of Technology, which has been involved in speech technology for more than 30 years. Since 2003 the company has maintained a second branch in Stuttgart, South-West Germany. In 2004, voice INTER connect and its partners founded the Speech Technology Center (STZ) - a center of excellence in this area - also located in Dresden.
