Pupil Internship

Two weeks at voice INTER connect: What was it like?

An additional task as part of the school work experience placement at voice INTER connect: writing a blog post about her time with us. The post was written entirely by our work experience student herself. Thank you very much for your hard work – you were a really great help!

"I am a Year 9 pupil at Dresden-Bühlau Grammar School and completed my work experience placement here at voice INTER vonnect from 18 May to 2 June 2026.
Overall, I can say that all my temporary colleagues were very nice, friendly and always helpful right from the start. They explained a lot about their respective areas of work to me and always gave me tasks that were appropriate for my age and level of knowledge, so I was kept well occupied.
I mainly worked on the computer, often on or with the local database. This included, for example, adding to and correcting company data.
I was also allowed to help with the translation of voice commands for a programme and provide a little support. In addition, I gained a brief insight into the world of microphone technology, albeit not down to the smallest detail, so that it remained appropriate to my level of knowledge.
One of the highlights for me, however, was being involved in a small experimental setup and being allowed to plan and implement the arrangement and cabling of the components myself — largely without direct assistance.
In conclusion, I look back on these two weeks of my work placement with great satisfaction. I felt I’d settled in quite quickly and am more than grateful to have been given this valuable opportunity.
That’s why I’m happy to recommend the work placement, as it was absolutely worthwhile for me personally!"
