In common machines or devices, speech control is seldom used, since the adaptation effort for vocabularies is disproportionately high and the necessary hardware may sometimes equal the price of a small PC. The integrated speech control vicCONTROL was especially designed for all applications which require a "third hand".

This speech control is ready for immediate use, and due to the comprehensive equipment of the hardware demonstrators, various applications can be set up (voice activated switcher, machine control, noise reduction, etc.).

vicCONTROL consists of the hardware platform vicCORE, which can be connected to the machine control via different interfaces. The control dialogue can be visualized using an optional LCD display. The integrated sound generator and the optional loudspeaker module also enable an acoustic feedback for the user.

vicCORE

vicCONTROL can be easily configured by using a simple application interface (API). The target application can be controlled by serial protocol. If necessary, multi-level command menus or more complex operations can be realized as well.

vicCONTROL is also worthwhile for small lots. The client may simply edit all desired commands on PC using the included GUI tool and then download it to the vicCORE device afterwards. This provides the client with great flexibility as they may easily configure their custom-tailored solutions by themselves.

If desired, voice INTER connect can provide adaptation support for the implementation of complex dialogues, for vocabulary definition or also during the integration of the device. Naturally, we also support you in optimizing recognition performance, e. g. in noisy or acoustically disturbed environments.
