voice INTER connect has implemented an IP-based audio-video-communication solution on the efficient embedded camera platforms of VRmagic.
The HDR camera is characterized by an improved representation of scenes with large lighting dynamics, changing surrounding conditions as well as a fast reaction to moved objects.
Therefore it is ideally for outdoor use under varying light conditions or suitable for mobile applications.
The audio transmission achieves a highly transparent language quality by the use of digital procedures and efficient signal processing algorithms. During natural full-duplex communication both dialog partners can speak without disturbance at the same time.
The efficient sensor platform is suitable for the employment in a variety of ranges of application, for example for building communication and monitoring, access control systems, people counting and monitoring in public transport or as driving assistance in cars.
A connection of the VoIPCAM to different communication systems is possible. Due to the compatibility with the SIP standard all SIP-able devices and soft phones are suitable as receiving station.

Für die Umsetzung eines intelligenten Audio-Video-Sensors wurde eine miniaturisierte Videokamera mit einer Audio-Video-Kommunikationsapplikation ausgestattet. Sie ist damit ideal zum Einsatz in der Gebäudekommunikation geeignet.

Der Datenaustausch findet über ein Ethernet-Netzwerk statt. Hard- und Software für diese Netzwerke sind weit verbreitet und ausgereift. Somit kann der Audio-Video-Sensor in bestehende IP-basierte Gebäudenetzwerke optimal integriert werden.

Für eine größtmögliche Kompatibilität werden auf Softwareebene standardisierte Protokolle, wie das Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), das Real-Time-Transport-Protocol (RTP) und die daran gekoppelten Protokolle eingesetzt. Die Nutzung der Kombination von SIP und RTP für die Übertragung der Audio-Video-Daten bewirkt, dass die Mehrheit der Kommunikationslösungen aus dem PC-Bereich für die Kommunikation mit dem Sensor eingesetzt werden können.
